dn29:34.7 There are some ascetics and brahmins who have this doctrine and view:
dn29:34.8 ‘The self and the cosmos are eternal. This is the only truth, anything else is futile.’
dn29:34.9 There are some ascetics and brahmins who have this doctrine and view:
dn29:34.10 ‘The self and the cosmos are not eternal,
dn29:34.11 or both eternal and not eternal,
dn29:34.12 or neither eternal nor not eternal.
dn29:34.13 The self and the cosmos are made by oneself,
dn29:34.14 or made by another,
dn29:34.15 or made by both oneself and another,
dn29:34.16 or they have arisen anomalously, not made by oneself or another.
dn29:34.17 Pleasure and pain are eternal,
dn29:34.18 or not eternal,
dn29:34.19 or both eternal and not eternal,
dn29:34.20 or neither eternal nor not eternal.
dn29:34.21 Pleasure and pain are made by oneself,
dn29:34.22 or made by another,
dn29:34.23 or made by both oneself and another,
dn29:34.24 or they have arisen anomalously, not made by oneself or another. This is the only truth, anything else is futile.’
