dn29:30.1 It’s possible that wanderers of other religions might say,
dn29:30.2 ‘Is this your view: “A realized one still exists after death. This is the only truth, anything else is futile”?’
dn29:30.3 You should say to them,
dn29:30.4 ‘Reverend, this has not been declared by the Buddha.’
dn29:30.6 The wanderers might say,
dn29:30.7 ‘Then is this your view: “A realized one no longer exists after death. This is the only truth, anything else is futile”?’
dn29:30.8 You should say to them,
dn29:30.9 ‘This too has not been declared by the Buddha.’
dn29:30.11 The wanderers might say,
dn29:30.12 ‘Then is this your view: “A realized one both still exists and no longer exists after death. This is the only truth, anything else is futile”?’
dn29:30.13 You should say to them,
dn29:30.14 ‘This too has not been declared by the Buddha.’
dn29:30.16 The wanderers might say,
dn29:30.17 ‘Then is this your view: “A realized one neither still exists nor no longer exists after death. This is the only truth, anything else is futile”?’
dn29:30.18 You should say to them,
dn29:30.19 ‘This too has not been declared by the Buddha.’
