sn22.1:9.2 It’s when an unlearned ordinary person has not seen the noble ones, and is neither skilled nor trained in the qualities of a noble one. They’ve not seen true persons, and are neither skilled nor trained in the qualities of a true person.
sn22.1:9.3 They regard form as self, self as having form, form in self, or self in form.
sn22.1:9.4 They’re obsessed with the thought: ‘I am form, form is mine!’
sn22.1:9.5 But that form of theirs decays and perishes,
sn22.1:9.6 which gives rise to sorrow, lamentation, pain, sadness, and distress.
