sn12.1:3.1 When ignorance fades away and ceases no residue left behind, choices cease.

sn12.1:3.3 When consciousness ceases, name and form cease.
sn12.1:3.4 When name and form cease, the six sense fields cease.
sn12.1:3.5 When the six sense fields cease, contact ceases.
sn12.1:3.6 When contact ceases, feeling ceases.
sn12.1:3.7 When feeling ceases, craving ceases.
sn12.1:3.8 When craving ceases, grasping ceases.
sn12.1:3.9 When grasping ceases, continued existence ceases.
sn12.1:3.10 When continued existence ceases, rebirth ceases.
sn12.1:3.11 When rebirth ceases, old age and death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, sadness, and distress cease.
sn12.1:3.12 That is how this entire mass of suffering ceases.”
sn12.1:3.13 That is what the Buddha said.
sn12.1:3.14 Satisfied, the mendicants approved what the Buddha said.
