Buddha mengajarkan cara menjalani dan menyampaikan Dhamma tanpa menciptakan konflik. Ia menolak dua ekstrem kenikmatan indria dan penyiksaan diri, lalu membahas bagaimana pujian, kritik dan pengajaran dapat disampaikan tanpa diam-diam meninggikan diri atau menyerang orang lain.
