Bhuttassa ca sūkaramaddavena,
Setelah memakan daging babi basi,
A severe sickness struck the Teacher

Byādhippabāḷho udapādi satthuno;
timbullah penyakit parah pada Sang Guru;
who had eaten the pork on the turn.
ud8.5:9.3
Viriccamāno bhagavā avoca,
Sambil membersihkan diri, Sang Bhagavā berkata,
While still purging the Buddha said:
ud8.5:9.4
“Gacchāmahaṁ kusināraṁ nagaran”ti.
“Aku akan pergi ke kota Kusinārā.”
“I’ll go to the citadel of Kusinārā.”
