Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa sīsaṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian orang buta sejak lahir ia memperlihatkan kepala gajah:
To some of the blind people he showed the elephant’s head, saying,

‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Inilah, hai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
ud6.4:18.3
Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa kaṇṇaṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian lainnya ia memperlihatkan telinga gajah:
To some of them he showed the elephant’s ear, saying,
ud6.4:18.4
‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Inilah, hai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
ud6.4:18.5
Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa dantaṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian lainnya ia memperlihatkan gading gajah:
To some of them he showed the elephant’s tusk, saying,
ud6.4:18.6
‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Inilah, hai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
ud6.4:18.7
Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa soṇḍaṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian lainnya ia memperlihatkan belalai gajah:
To some of them he showed the elephant’s trunk, saying,
ud6.4:18.8
‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Inilah, hai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
ud6.4:18.9
Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa kāyaṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian lainnya ia memperlihatkan badan gajah:
To some of them he showed the elephant’s flank, saying,
ud6.4:18.10
‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Inilah, hai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
ud6.4:18.11
Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa pādaṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian lainnya ia memperlihatkan kaki gajah:
To some of them he showed the elephant’s leg, saying,
ud6.4:18.12
‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Beginilah, wahai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
ud6.4:18.13
Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa satthiṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian dari mereka ia memperlihatkan paha gajah, sambil berkata:
To some of them he showed the elephant’s thigh, saying,
ud6.4:18.14
‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Beginilah, wahai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
ud6.4:18.15
Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa naṅguṭṭhaṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian dari mereka ia memperlihatkan ekor gajah, sambil berkata:
To some of them he showed the elephant’s tail, saying,
ud6.4:18.16
‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Beginilah, wahai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
ud6.4:18.17
Ekaccānaṁ jaccandhānaṁ hatthissa vāladhiṁ dassesi:
Kepada sebagian dari mereka ia memperlihatkan ujung ekor gajah, sambil berkata:
To some of them he showed the tip of the elephant’s tail, saying,
ud6.4:18.18
‘ediso, jaccandhā, hatthī’ti.
‘Beginilah, wahai orang-orang buta sejak lahir, gajah itu.’
‘Here is the elephant.’
